Stars Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, and Dan Fogel — and director David Yates and producer David Heyman — discuss the return to the Wizarding World in a new featurette highlighting the upcoming Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. The group also discusses the new take on the world made familiar in the Harry Potter novels and films, and working with creator and Fantastic Beasts screenwriter J.K. Rowling.

Eddie Redmayne has been nominated for his second consecutive best actor Oscar.
He will compete with Leonardo DiCaprio, who received a nod for revenge epic The Revenant, which leads the pack with 12 nominations.
Redmayne secured his nomination for his role as a transgender artist in The Danish Girl and will also compete with Irish actor Michael Fassbender for Steve Jobs, Matt Damon for The Martian and Bryan Cranston for Trumbo.
Redmayne took home the Academy Award last year for his performance as Professor Stephen Hawking in The Theory Of Everything.
Eddie Redmayne has been nominated for a BAFTA award for the second year in a row after winning plaudits for his role in The Danish Girl.
Stephen Fry and actress Gugu Mbatha-Raw announced the shortlist for the prizes at BAFTA’s headquarters in London.
The British star, who won a BAFTA and Oscar last year for The Theory Of Everything, will face Leonardo DiCaprio in the best actor category.
DiCaprio, who stars in The Revenant, has been nominated for a BAFTA three times but has never won.
The only other actor to win two years in a row is Colin Firth for A Single Man in 2009 and The King’s Speech in 2010.
Bryan Cranston (Trumbo), Matt Damon (The Martian) and Michael Fassbender (Steve Jobs) are also named in the best actor category.
Eddie Redmayne, who won an Academy award last year for his portrayal of Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything and is in the running to repeat the achievement this year for his role in The Danish Girl, has said that he sometimes sends money to drama students who are struggling to pay their rent.
In an interview with GQ, Redmayne has said that having parents who lived in London afforded him “the greatest privilege” of being able to live and work in the capital without paying rent. Redmayne himself did not go to drama school; after graduating from Cambridge, he worked as a waiter while seeking professional acting work. In 2002, he got his first stage break as Viola, playing opposite Mark Rylance’s Olivia in an all-male production of Twelfth Night.
Since his rise to fame, the actor has said he frequently receives requests for financial aid.
“I get letters from people trying to go to drama school and needing to pay their rent,” he said. “And so that’s something I occasionally do. It’s impossibly expensive to live in London.”
Last year, Redmayne said he still relies on the counsel of the drama teacher at his former school, Eton.
“I had the greatest drama teacher I could ever have wished for in Simon Dormandy,” he said. “He inspired me to continue acting and I owe him so much. We will stay in touch. Over the years I’ve continued to seek out his advice and work with him if I think I could use some feedback when I’m preparing for a role.”

The Globes previously announced that Olivia Wilde and Mel Gibson — who has been a favorite target of host Ricky Gervais in the past years he’s emceed the ceremony — will also be presenters at the show.
The 73rd Golden Globe Awards will air Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
Jennifer Lawrence and Eddie Redmayne stopped by this week’s THE GRAHAM NORTON SHOW to discuss Redmayne’s early career in modelling as well as their slightly differing experiences after winning an Oscar. Check out clips from the appearance below!
Eddie Redmayne is going to be a father — news that puts the cherry on top of an amazing year.
Although the Oscar-winner and his wife Hannah have not announced the news themselves, a source close to Hannah confirmed to PEOPLE that the couple is expecting.
This will be baby number one for both.
The pair married last year and recently celebrated their anniversary. The Danish Girl actor gushed about married life in the new issue of PEOPLE.
“It’s been extraordinary. It’s been the most wonderful whirlwind,” Redmayne, 33, said. “I think saint might be the word. She is an absolute saint. And it’s a ride for both of us. It’s wonderful doing it with someone you love because you also have a second eye on it all.”
Redmayne also opened up about his plans to take some time off once he’s done filming Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them; a decision that makes perfect sense with a baby some time next year.
“The plan is, after Fantastic Beasts ends in a couple of months’ time, to take a little time off and try to take it all in,” he said.
Eddie Redmayne stars as Scamander, and the film’s plot, set decades before the Harry Potter stories, has him visiting the Magical Congress of the United States of America. Things go awry when his creatures begin escaping from his magical briefcase. Katherine Waterston, Colin Farrell, and Ezra Miller also star.
Rowling wrote the script herself, the first time she’s handled screenplay duties. David Yates, who directed the final four Harry Potter movies, directs. And this is expected to be the first film in a new triology.
Oscar-winning actor Eddie Redmayne has revealed he consulted his wife and mother before starring in “The Danish Girl”.
The 33-year-old actor stars opposite Alicia Vikander in the new pseudo-biographical drama movie, in which he plays Lili Elbe – one of the first known recipients of sex reassignment surgery, reported Femalefirst.
Redmayne has revealed he spoke to the female influences in his life, including his wife Hannah Bagshawe, before shooting the movie.
“When I was preparing for the role I wasn’t going, ‘Ooh, where’s my feminine side?’ It was just about finding out who this character was and finding that place inside me. It seems to me that the notions we’ve had until now of masculinity and femininity are almost antiquated these days.
“It used to be that if someone is sporty then they’re ‘masculine’ and if they like art they’re ‘feminine’, and I feel we’ve got a long way beyond that now. I certainly don’t see the world as being male and female in that way any more – I feel like there’s a whole spectrum of shades in there.
